General Editing

Sontana is a text editor so has many of the usual features of a text editor, such as cut, copy and paste; load/save, insert files etc. There are no special font styles and there is only one font for the whole text.

Sontana's way of doing things may differ in the following:

• When you load or save a file, the name is shown in the window's title bar.
• When you modify a loaded or saved file, the name has a plus sign next to it (+) until you save it.
• If you try to quit without saving your file and you have changed it, Sontana can warn you. There are several levels of warning on the Modification Reminders menu.
• The window's size will be saved if you save settings.
• Settings are only saved if you choose the Save Settings menu option. Closing the window any other way will lose changed settings.
• The first line number is 1. If you jump to a specific line number then start counting from 1.
