Sontana Tutorial

Most people will find Sontana useful for reading and writing email.

Reading email

If your email client can show you the email in the correct Thai font then you don't need Sontana! However, it's not a perfect world and for one reason or another (wrong coding, etc) you can't figure out how to read it.

Copy and paste the email into Sontana. Sontana can automatically convert from known formats to Thai. There is one assumption: the text is Thai or Thai mixed with Roman letters (no accents or umlauts). Please see my Thai Email Guide for more information.
