Controlling the Localisation
Sontana's GUI is English by default. This is controlled by the settings of the computer
you are using. The two translation files Sontana_th.qm and Sontana_ja.qm
supply the translations.
You can control the language used in the GUI by the following methods:
- Delete/move the qm files and always run in English.
- (Linux) use the parameter -locale with a 2 letter code indicating which locale
to use; e.g. en (English), th (Thai), ja (Japanese).
- (Windows) create a shortcut, edit the shortcut to use the -locale parameter.
The following screen shots show how this can be achieved:
- Create a shortcut (image)
- Edit the shortcut properties (image)
- Add the -locale parameter (image)
- Select "Apply" then "OK" (image)
- (Optional) Change the name of the shortcut (image)
- Run Sontana using the shortcut icon (image)

My screenshots are from Vista Japanese version but the procedure is exactly the same in
other languages.
